1. What a gift here is
Money sent through this page is an unconditional personal gift from you to the individual who created and operates ONE FROM YOU, received via PayPal, the recipient being named on your payment receipt. It is not a purchase, a subscription, an investment, a loan, a charitable donation, or payment for anything at all. Nothing is sold on this site.
2. What you receive
Nothing. No product, service, access or advantage. On request, and at the creator's discretion, your position in the order of givers ("giver number N") may be acknowledged. That acknowledgement is honorary, revocable, and is not consideration for your gift.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to make a gift where you live, and giving money that is yours to give. By giving, you confirm all three.
4. The stated goal
This page states an intention to accumulate a very large sum, and openly demonstrates in its own arithmetic that the headline figure is unreachable. That statement is humour, not a forecast, and nothing about it constitutes a promise, a projection, or an inducement based on a future event.
5. Finality
A gift is intended by both parties to be final. Nothing here limits any right you hold under applicable law or under PayPal's own policies. No refund is offered as a matter of course, because nothing was sold.
6. Not a charity; taxes
ONE FROM YOU is not a charity, nonprofit or fundraising platform. Gifts are not tax-deductible anywhere. Any tax consequence of your gift is yours, and on his side, the creator's.
7. Honesty clause
Every material fact about this arrangement is disclosed on the home page before any payment is possible: that you receive nothing, that one named individual keeps the money, and that the stated goal cannot be reached. If any of that ever stops being true, this page is wrong and should be corrected — write in and say so.
